Sunday was the kind of day you wish for when visiting Yellowstone. You want to see lots of animals, especially bears, you want perfect weather and you want to see something just a little different. Well we got it all. We watched a mother black bear nurse her cubs and then send them up a tree while she took a nap. We saw coyotes, antelope, bison with babies, a nesting sandhill crane and lots of bull elk in velvet.

But the highlight of the day was watching a mother badger and her three babies playing at the entrance of their den



For photography that perfectly blue sky made taking photos tough. Contrast was the problem. I have bear photos but they aren't great
